Western Digital My Passport USB 3.2 HDD 4TB 2,5" - Μπλε

While I've been working on iMacs since day one, I'm really not a technofile, so I was delighted at what a doddle it was to set up. Plus it's literally an eighth of the size of the clunky old external hard drive I was previously using for Time Machine and doesn't overheat or make a racket. Massive thumbs up all round.

I use this for Time Machine on Mac and so far it has worked perfectly and doesn't take long to update.

Very easy to use, just plugged it in and the MacBook did the rest. It's very compact and easy to store. I didn't notice until it was too late, but on the initial setup you can split the drive into a sector for Time Machine to use and a sector for your own manual file storage and transfer. For 5TB, I would recommend doing this.
