Originally from Albany, NY, but now an integral part of the Brooklyn indie rock community duo Ali Genevich and Jake Brooks are known for their dreamy Sundays-esque dreampop. On their 3rd full length album and Bar/None debut Laveda has stepped out of their comfort zone and are taking a heavier approach to their rock tendencies. They’ve looked past their traditional influences and are walking the path paved by bands like Unsane and Sonic Youth.
