Hippobottomus

A witty and anarchic tale from master storyteller Didier Lévy.

The hippopotamus is feeling worried. Is his bottom too big? All the other animals have an opinion, but nobody can agree and things soon start to get out of hand. Is there a way to sort out the mess?

Didier Lévy’s subversive story is accompanied by Marc Boutavant’s glorious illustrations, which perfectly capture the characters’ idiosyncrasies, mannerisms and hilarious reactions. The Hippobottomus will reassure all young readers beset by body insecurity, and remind them above all that in life, keeping a sense of proportion is key.
