I can tell you from the beginning that this has become one of my favorite books of 2019 and not only. It's the first book in The Blood and Stars series with the second book Unravel the Stars coming out in July 2020.
When I read the synopsis of this book I wasn't so interested in it, but when I started reading it I was very pleasantly surprised.
I love the story, the characters and the world that Elizabeth Lim has created. The writing is just beautiful. I really liked the pacing of the book which was fast and kept you interested and engaged all the time.
I loved the characters and especially Edan who is amazing.
