Upper intermediate to Upper advanced (CEFR levels B2-C2).
A useful handbook for reference and grammar practice. The book consists of a multi-lingual dictionary of the most commonly used Italian verbs in the infinitve and a vast array of exercises to help students use these verbs correctly.
The book can be used in class to support Italian teaching and is also ideal for self-study thanks to the answer key and clear grammar tables provided.
The dictionary section acts as a helpful guide for each of the listed verbs including: translations into five languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese); the auxiliary verb (to be or to have); and a contextual example to clarify the meaning of the verb.
The second section is divided into levels of competence according to the CEFR and offers a wide range of grammar exercises and games, such as: multiple choice exercises, cloze tests, matching tasks and crosswords. Another section of exercises follows, divided by level and organised alphabetically. This means students can choose to practice on verbs of a specific level or on all the verbs starting with a specific letter.
