The Beatles’ final From Us To You special was recorded at the BBC Paris Studio on July 17th and broadcast on August 3rd, 1964. The nineteen-minute set they played was only a little shorter than their standard on the road live set during 1964. This 33rpm EP contains eight of the ten songs transmitted and offers a fascinating comparison with George Martin’s EMI productions. The arrangements are almost identical but on this recording, you can hear the individual guitars much more prominently than on the released versions.
