Αναλυτική Περιγραφή
Here is the "live" album AKA - Free voices of forest, the result of an intercultural adventure. The protagonists are on the one hand, the Aka pygmies of the NDIMA Ensemble - inhabitants of the equatorial forest of Congo-Brazzaville - Sorel Eta, Bantu ethnologist, manager and founder of Ndima, and on the other, three French Occitans named Leila Martial, Eric Perez and Rémi Leclerc. It is an unprecedented meeting between the Ndima group, virtuoso of the ancestral vocal repertoire of the Pygmy Aka, and that of European artists with an abundant imagination, experienced in improvisation. This multidimensional epic spans several years_ It is the subject of the creation of a show, tours carried out in France and the Congo near the indigenous populations, as well as a feature-length documentary film directed by Yvan Schreck This album recorded live brings together recordings made during the spring 2022 tour in France_ Here, the voice is at the center of the exploration and becomes the instrument of all possibilities. It is a journey without words, at the heart of human nature. There is in the meeting of these two worlds like the advent of a new community of sounds.
