Integral Christianity

This title explores the evolution of Christianity using models of integral theory and practice. This book presents a model of Christianity that incorporates the insights of a Jesus-centred theology of biblical interpretation, integral philosophy, and over 50-years of pastoral experience in leading evolutionary change in local churches. "Integral Christianity" utilizes the perspectives of integral theory and practice, as advocated by founder of the Integral Institute Ken Wilber, to help uncover the integral approach that Jesus advocated and demonstrated in the metaphors of his time - and that traditional Christianity has largely been unable to see. Smith incorporates elements of traditional, modern, and postmodern theology to offer a vision of Christianity that includes the best of its past and transcends the worst of its present.
